Create Calendar Appointments FAST in Outlook

Transcript

Here's another super quick little Outlook tip for you. Now, if you look at my inbox, you can see that I've got an email in there from Layla. I'm a member of her mailing list, and she's just sent this email about a webinar that she's hosting.

Now if I want to put this into my calendar, instead of jumping across to my calendar and then creating an appointment and adding in all the details, I can simply drag and drop the email to the calendar icon. So if I grab this one just here, drag and drop it on the calendar icon in that menu bar on the left hand side and let go, it's automatically going to create an appointment for me.

And you can see it's added all of the details of that email into the body of the appointment. So all I would need to do then is adjust the date and the time, click on save and close and it's gonna add that into my calendar for me. That is a much quicker way of managing emails that need to be appointments.

So start employing that to improve your efficiency tenfold. That's it. The quickest of quick tips.
